![]() ![]() Quantize your performance, not just your notes. This works, but boy is it a laborious task for something that seems many keyboard players would want to do easily on a regular basis. Then my pitch shift is where it should be relative to the note. I then quantize by hand in the event list, because I know that first point was under the note start point, I select all the points and edit the first one so that it's new start point is in the notes' new quantized location. ![]() Then after I quantize the note - I go into the hyper editor, and select all the points in the range that were 'under' the original note, and slide them. Now I can bang on my AKAI MPD16 and have it line up in Acid, even if I'm off a little. Other than that, this is working perfectly. The only work around I have found, is to open up the event list, and create a pitch bend 'event' at the same point in the bar as my note is on, then another pitch bend event somewhere after my note ends. The alternative is to not use the MIDI merge, but then you lose what you did previously when it repeats the loop segment. The note moves, and the pitch changes are now not 'under' the note anymore - although they are in some strange sense "quantized". This is why regulating your lifestyle outside of food is a great way to control your appetite, align it with your goals, and improve your results. ![]() If you have a nice pitch bend curve with 30 point on it, and then quantize - those points move to square positions that are unrelated to the start of the note - it does not quantized relative to the start and end points of the note. Changes in hormones from other areas like exercise, sleep (or sleep loss), stress, and other factors can tip appetite up or down. You say that in the hyper editor, quantizing pitch bend was a breeze? ![]()
